stale fun

Thanks to my brother taking out his anger on my keyboard while playing his pro evolution soccer, my keyboard is currently in a coma. All i can do with my computer is only to surf around using the mouse and copy and paste letters if i want to sign in into anything.

Damn sad.

Second week into my second year of uni, and every single one of my subjects is so darn dry and boring. Unlike my last semester where i at least had some subjects which required some creativity and fun, i foresee my current semester to bore me to tears.

Time for my next class. Pray that i can make it through with both eyes open.

Chill girl.. he's only going away for 6 short months. Time will fly by, and soon enough, he'll be back with you. :)

Greetings from Bangkok!

I have been in Bangkok for 3 days now and so far, i have only gone to 2 shopping places. I didn't even get to go to Chatuchak Market. :( Right now, i am sitting in the internet cafe at the United Nations Conference Center amidst all the monks and laymen from 45 countries all over the world, mingling together as one.

Me and my sister along with our singing group came to Bangkok to perform in the International Buddhist Conference. We were told we would be performing during the opening ceremony in front of the UN secretary general Kofi Anan, but it's already the third day, and we're still sitting around in the conference. However, it is confirmed now that we will be performing tomorrow, right before we come back to Malaysia.

I have been wearing coat and suits everyday. Feeling so corporate and growned up all of a sudden. So many people from all walks of life, with different colors, different culture, different language, but with a common value, being in the same place and sharing their views of the future is so inspiring. It is truly an experience everybody should go true. ;)

Sitting in the internet cafe, stalling time before i go in to the conference room to sit in in another conference, i miss simon. :( No matter how inspiring it is here, i can't wait to go home. Anyway, it's tomorrow!

Well tonight, after visiting the princess, we will be going to another shopping district. Hopefully, i will be able to grab more buys.

Till i'm home! :)

on a sunday and monday

My whole family and the family of a family friend (?) [lol] went over to my dad's new apartment that is situated in the heart of KL for a night. Seriously, the view from the apartment's balcony is a beauty. Straight, we see the twintowers; right, we see bukit bintang.

It's a newly built service apartment by Somerset and Ascott, named Seri Bukit Ceylon.

The view.
If there are fireworks by KLCC, we will be able to see it in VIP seats.

So we spent the whole of monday morning and afternoon lazing around the apartment and swimming pool.

We went to a German restaurant in the evening to celebrate my sister's 22nd birthday. And boy was all the pork sausages, pork knuckles, pork ribs good!

A toast to the birthday girl

Diggin' in

Lastly, camwhoring. ;)

Happy 22nd Ta-Che! :)

Road Trip

What a pack weekend i had!

I headed to Malacca on Friday together with simon, reen and keeliang. The main purpose of us going there in the first place was because i had a performance on saturday night. So, we took this opportunity to have a road trip! :)

We stayed in this hotel just beside town and it wasn't too bad. At least there wasn't any dodgy experience.

Taken in our adjoining hotel rooms ;)

After checking in, we scouted the streets of malacca for food!
Chicken Rice Balls, Various foods in Jonker Street, Chinese Satay, Satay Celup..etc.

We ate like we had not eaten in years. Haha.

Then our last agenda of the trip was my performance, which we all wore white for. Like some clan liddat.
Anyway, it would not have been a complete road trip without cam-whoring now would it? You can check out the rest of the self absorbed pictures taken in malacca from here.

Gotta head out now. More about my Sunday and Monday later! :)
