Everytime I go for a hair wash, I try to stick to the same salon unless I am not nearby. To be honest, I am not very loyal with stylists. There, my dark secret is out. It's true that I am not very good at keeping to the same stylist. Same as talking during my hair time when I just want to be in my own bubble enjoying that me time. Although I am getting better now with this guy whom I feel more at ease with his scissorhand on my hair and with holding conversations with him.

Anyway, I've yet to find someone who can give me the curls I want, but I found someone else who can blow the curls that I want perfectly! Right down to the twirl at the end of my fringe.

But i doubt I'll see him again for my next blow. He's just too far in town for me to endure the jam for. But he'll definitely be my to go guy when I'm there.

See the top I'm wearing, that was my first time wearing it and during the wash, the colour from its lace came off. Now my beautiful white top is ruined with black stains. Boo! I get to have pretty hair and ruin my pretty top. A girl can't get everything can she.

I'm thankful to be here

Ahh..so much has happened since my last post. I need to make it a point to write it down as soon as it happens, if not, i'll never remember them correctly when I finally do take the time to sit down and blog.

Last week, we finally finished recording our second album after almost what, 5 months? And these are only the vocals. Now Greg aka MrProducer will have to put the finishing touches- strings, more lead guitars, polishing and tweaking of vocal pitches etc and we are good to launch!Not sure when will be the next time I'll fall asleep on that plush red sofa while waiting for my turn to record.

Last weekend as well, we were invited to perform at this inter-religion World Peace gathering at the Pure Life Society where groups of every faith were invited to share their religious musics to each other. So, we represented the Buddhist community and I'm proud to say we had the better singers present although I truly enjoyed the Baha'i group's chant that incorporated different languages.That same weekend, I played badminton again after a thousand years of not playing. My arm and calves hurt like mad after that for a few days. Gladly so. I desperately need more workout sessions. I'm starting to believe that my Belly Dancing classes alone isn't going to help much.

Oh yea, for those who hasn't known, I've took up Belly Dancing recently in hopes that I will sport a leaner, toner, svelt figure with a more defined waist in 3 months. Which I don't think can happen with just one hour class a week. Heh.

I walked in for my first class feeling all hopeful until I saw my teachers waist. Erm. Not very defined and flat.. But nevermind, I am enjoying the class tremendously! Maybe I'll sign up for their other classes. Like pole-dancing perhaps? :p

Things are going pretty well with the bf so far - 3 months into the relationship. We've done so many things together in this few months. And I'm happy. Very happy. But one thing that I am most glad is the fact that he makes the effort to bond with my family. I didn't want to compare my relationships but this was one of the main factor that irked me the most in my past.

Now, I have to restrain him from professing his love too much for my grandma. Haha. "Byebye, I love youuuu". I think my grandma is getting a kick out of him. =)

Without this turning into a fullblown love profession, I'll save that for more special occasions, I'm just truly happy that I'm with him. He's good for me in every way.

March-ing Forward

March flew by in a blink. Three weeks into my new job and I find myself still liking it. This should be a good indication that I am on the right path. Even if I am not, I'll just convince myself that I love my job. Yes I do.

It has been a pretty eventful month. My recording/practice sessions with the Igemz have been going on full blast alongside a hectic work schedule in which I am trailing behind. I foresee my eyebags and dark circles to be a permanent resident from now onwards. Not like it wasn't in the first place. Now it's the pimples that are popping up like daisies.

I used to never have problems with pimples or what not on my face. But ever since I lived and toiled in SG, everything went south. (pardon the pun). Right now, I don't even have time for a facial. Any extra time I have, I'll sleep it away or spend it with Lee. =)

The other day, to commemorate our first month together, he brought me MO for dinner. To be very honest, I still feel that things are surreal with him. I can't believe I managed to find someone who so closely resembles myself. One who thinks on the same wavelength as I do, have the same attitude on life, work and the future as me and not to mention tall, dark and handsome too. Haha, don't kembang if you read this ok.

Time definitely is not the determining factor of the growing bond. It goes way beyond that.

After not seeing the gang for awhile, it was refreshing to hang out with them again. Also to introduce 'The BF' to them. Too bad my main chop wasn't there. PX, bila lagi?

I wanted to try and get a shot of him dancing coz I am still amazed at how well he can dance. ARR. Sexy ah. But, a lousy cam takes useless shots.
That was all I could get la. I think YLY would have some from previous excursions on the floor.
